The East End offers good and safe access with designated bike lanes, bike boxes and parking options for bike riders.
- Bike lanes have been painted green where they cross side streets to increase visibility.
- Bike boxes have been be created at intersections, giving bike riders priority.
- Bike lanes increased in size to accommodate increasing number of riders.

A bike box is an area of road at an intersection that allows cyclists to wait in front of, and to get a head start on, motor vehicles stopped at the intersection. The bike boxes are painted green with white bike symbols, and allow cyclists to be more easily seen by driver
